Step 6 - Home Screen
16. Immediately after tapping “Sign Up” you will be brought to the primary home screen as shown below. You will see 3 buttons at the top and 3 buttons at the bottom. The main RemTrace functions are accessed using the top 3 buttons.
During activation we already set-up the “Default Job” so for now we will focus on the “Add or Scan Asset” button.
17. Now click on the “Add or Scan Asset” button.
18. After pressing “Add or Scan Asset” a new page will open see below
19. When you see “Waiting for NFC Tag” your device is searching for the tag you will introduce to the RemTrace ecosystem.
20. Take your RemTrace tag (see example image just above) and scan it with you mobile device. Usually passing the tag up and down along the back of your device is effective.
21. When the RemTrace Tag is located the screen will update and request confirmation, to confirm click the “Confirm Button” as below.
